Nemaha County Hospital's Business Office is open Monday thru Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The Business Office is located in the front lobby of the hospital and can be contacted via telephone at (402) 274-4366. The NCH business office consists of an admission representative, 3 billing coordinators, a financial account representative, an accounts payable clerk, and a Chief Financial Officer.

Insurance/Billing

      Nemaha County Hospital will bill any insurance company. The patient, however, is responsible for any and all deductibles, coinsurance payments, co-pays, and balances that your insurance company does not cover at the time of service. It is the patient's responsibility to contact their specific insurance company prior to registration to find out what is or is not going to be covered.

Payment Options

      Cash, Check Money Order, Visa and Mastercard are accepted.

Financial Policy

1. A bill of $500.00 or less must be paid within 6 months of date of discharge.
2. A bill of $500.01 to $1,000.00 must be paid within 12 months of date of discharge.
3. A bill of $1,000.01 or more requires a completed financial statement and the amount of payments will be determined by the CFO.
