Do You Know?
Someone has a heart attack every 29 seconds and coronary heart
disease claims one life every minute in the United States.

You may experience any or all of these symptoms. Sometimes the
symptoms go away, then come back again.

Uncomfortable pressure, fullness, squeezing, or pain in the center
of the chest lasting more than a few minutes
Pain spreading to the shoulders, neck, back or arms
Chest discomfort, lightheadedness, nausea, fainting, sweating, or
shortness of breath |
If you experience any of the symptoms for more than 15 minutes, get
help fast.
Do not delay. Call 911 or have someone drive you to the emergency
room, which ever is faster. |
Do not phone your doctor to make an appointment.
Do not try to drive yourself. |
Most of the damage occurring from a heart attack occurs within the
