Nursing Services - Medical/Surgical, Emergency Services and Skilled Nursing
Our caring staff provides Personalized Patient Centered Care. This includes rounding at the bedside to encourage patient and/or family participation in the plan of care. This will include the physician, physician assistant, nursing staff, pharmacist and Home Care. Each patient will be assigned a Personal Representative to act as a patient advocate for the duration of their stay. It is the goals of Nemaha County Hospital to make the patient's stay as comfortable and stress-free as possible.
All of our Nursing Staff is trained in Basic Life Support (BLS) and all of our Registered Nurses are trained in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC).
Patient safety is a priority at Nemaha County Hospital. We use real-time documentation and electronic medication verification as one aspect of our safety initiatives.
