Nursing Services
Medical/Surgical, Emergency Services
& Skilled Nursing
Our caring staff provides Personalized Patient Centered Care. This
includes rounding at the bedside to encourage patient and/or family
participation in the plan of care. This will include the physician,
physician assistant, nursing staff, pharmacist and Home Care.
Each
patient will be assigned a Personal Representative to act as a
patient advocate for the duration of their stay. It is the goal of
Nemaha County Hospital to make the patient's stay as comfortable and
stress-free as possible.
All of our Nursing Staff is trained in Basic Life Support (BLS). All of our Registered Nurses are trained in Advanced Cardiac Life
Support (ACLS), Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) and Pediatric
Advanced Life Support (PALS).
Patient safety is a priority at Nemaha County Hospital. We use
real-time documentation and electronic medication verification as
one aspect of our safety initiatives.
