Hours of Operation:

Monday-Friday
7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. with on call services available for emergencies.

      Surgicals are required to see local physician within 30 days or less depending on the type of surgery. This time frame is established by medicare. The lab work required is determined by your physician and the type of surgery. Some cases do require type and cross match. That is accomplished at the hospital lab within 48 hours of surgery if it is a scheduled case.

      There are certain types of cases that we are not equipped to provide due to the expertise or the expense of the equipment does not make it cost effective to provide it locally.

Anesthesia

      Our anesthesia is provided by a CRNA. We can provide local sedation, regional or general anesthesia.

Ear, Nose and Throat

      The ear, nose and throat physician comes the second and fourth Thursdays. He places ear tubes and a and excises skin cancers of the face.

Gastroenterologist

      The gastroenterologist comes the second Tuesday of the month. He performs:

  • colonoscopies
  • upper endoscopies
  • removes polyps
  • takes biopsies
  • dilates the esophagus

General Surgeon

      The general surgeon comes Monday and Wednesday and other days if it can be arranged for emergencies. Types of cases done here are:

  • all types of hernia repairs
  • gall bladder removal
  • bowel resections
  • breast biopsies
  • mastectomies
  • hemorrhoidectomies
  • appendectomies
  • pilonidal systectmies
  • amputations
  • various other minor surgeries.

      We have a general surgeon that comes one afternoon a month who also does scope procedures.

Obstetric Gynecological

      Two obstetric gynecological specialists come that are partners. One comes the first Tuesday of the month and the other comes the third Monday. Procedures that they perform are:

  • sterilization procedures
  • hysterectomies with or without ovarian removal
  • bladder and bowel prolapse repairs
  • D and C's.

There are several new procedures implanting mesh to support the bladder and bowel that can be done here.

Orthopedic

      The orthopedic surgeons come from different offices in Lincoln. One office does:

  • trigger fingers
  • removal of ganglion cysts
  • carpal tunnel surgeries

      The other surgeon does:

  • knee arthroscopy
  • open and closed reductions of fractures
  • carpal tunnel
  • trigger fingers
  • excision of ganglion cysts

Podiatrist

      The podiatrist operates here once a month doing bunion, hammer toe, toenail and corn surgeries.

Urologist

      The urologist comes the first and third Tuesdays of the month. He does cystoscopies, vasectomies and some bladder surgeries.

The majority of our surgery is completed on an outpatient basis or a 24 hour stay. Inpatient surgery is also available.
